Ibiza SEO Sitrep

Ok lads quick update on the Ibiza SEO mission.

Those of you who were awake at the last briefing will remember that the only person who's ever come to the site using the words that way round was our "Ibiza SEO wannabe? (see post below if you're worried about booby-trapped links)

Well oddly enough :) the very next day after we pointed this out *someone else* hit the site "from the UK" using that very term.. just how unlikely is that, 3 years nothing, then 2 in 2 days? ..someone else using IE8 at 1920 x 1200 resolution? :)

Er.. yea, alright Numpty, because no-one knows what a VPN is round here do they? - or even which one you're using (Hidemyass? :) Whilst nosing around Spec Ops he noticed the satellite imagery of his previous surveillance (2mins 2 secs here below)

He even had a read of "The Art of SERP War" while he was there, but he obviously didn't learn much, or understand that it's not just an IP address that can gives your footprint away, because a quick switch to Amsterdam on the VPN..

and continued nosing around blissfully unaware he'd been pinged and was being observed through the cross-hairs the whole way..

Now any proper SEO troops know it's better to have your opposition underestimate you than the other way around, if only to see the looks on their faces when you boot their kitchen doors in and escort their ladies off for "de-briefing" (SEO Services Ibiza -if you get my drift ;)

However in this instance this operative is showing such low levels of awareness there is a strong possibility any actual SERP contact is likely to resemble 42 Commando RM vs Argie Conscripts 1982..

The combination of superior seo training, extensive serp combat experience, advanced weaponry (including surveillance equipment) is likely to make victory quickly decisive.

It's not bragging, but it's just not reasonable to expect a "bedroom seo" who by one means or another "inherited" control of a site that wasnt built by and didn't belong to him, and has never strayed out of the safety of little "Ibiza" searches, to have any hope against hardened shock troops with global combat experience in some of the toughest SERPs on earth.

However Lads, the Rules of Engagement are to be strictly followed, business is business and we must act in accordance of the rules, however if he makes it personal.. :)

Well thats a whole other can of worms isn't it? :)

SEO Ibiza - as you were..

Superior SEO - 2010

Right listen up.

While we've been away conquering foreign SERPs, as usual in such circumstances, whilst the Troops have been away risking their Google profiles for your safety, the "non-combatants" who've stayed (at home) have gotten brave enough to have been out "peace protesting" = attempting to crack onto our ladies, and organizing themselves into pockets of "resistance"

This is to be quelled ASAP, we now have orders to put down any / all homeland dissent with authorization to use as much SEO Power as required, up to and including lethal force i.e. tactical linkpower strikes & CQSEO SERP War Tactics as required.

Obviously being Spec Ops (SEO Recon) we've been scoping out the "uprisings" and while they are weak, sporadic and scattered, still, total SEO superiority must be re-imposed forthwith.

The attached briefing shows that although the enemy is completely clueless, regarding their actual penetration, moral seems to high for some reason, maybe due to some vague probing of defenses and moderate success on one flank (3 phrases if searches are conducted from the US - needs a gl=us in the SERP string) - Globally however, ie Google.com searched from anywhere else but the US, - ie UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, South America, etc HQ's Superior SEO empire is still strong.

Apart from the Clown prince however there are also multiple other targets seemingly planning insurgency and attacks, notably these individuals.

www.superior-seo-services.com - (butch returns) website here

"Jake" - unknown status, although known to us (ex operative) suspect double agent, openly linking to one of our positions but simultaneously building & acquiring sniper technology on hosted subdomains - watch closely.
NOTE: individuals on this list get one warning (link) each, this is your first and final warning, after this anyone still in the SERP after 15.00 hours today is responsible for their own fates, you have been warned.

Update 07-April 2010

Lol, that didn't take long, and considering the link strikes that have been called in (and yet to arrive) are the rough equivalent of Gandalph & crew riding in from the East at Dawn, it's highly doubtful ass clown will ever see his beloved "Trophy terms" at #1 again..

Website rewrite required numpty, and while you're at it, take any mention of our company off your lame-ass site, or we really will drop any semblance of civility and embarrass you beyond your wildest dreams on the world SEO stage, for you truly are SEOBullshit at it's finest, and if anybody deserves a write up on there you do.

CONSIDER THIS YOUR FINAL WARNING

Surreal SEO Combat - Part II

Hahaha ok listen up.

It was obviously too good to be true that the Clown Prince of SEO would actually drop it and stop his nonsense, well he hasn't, he's been re-designing his site to "attack" again.

And there we were, almost resigned to having to remove all mentions of him and find more clowns to play with. We are (ever-so-slightly) encouraged to see that he has been listening and has now at least added some extra pages and terms to his Surrealest of web designs that may actually attract potential customers at some point..

But he has then devoted a whole page of his "business website" to this fantasy "battle" he thinks is constantly going on (which is still actually only Google flux wrt to the main SEO Ibiza site)

Since his last lambasting in the previous surreal seo web design post and the subsequent deletion of silly page, he has now reinstated most of his nonsense again, and is still trying to pretend he doesn't care about these silly terms and is "too busy with big marketing clients" to be bothered with the nonsense he started.

And currently about 95% of the world will see his site at 3rd & 4th anyway when he thinks he's first, even in the US at the moment where Ibiza are at their weakest since geo-targeting the UK in late 2008.

HQ already had one potential client of his contact them a while ago, having found them by trying his silly "marketing" superior seo design search nonsense, and you would think that at some point, he might work out that advertising a far superior seo company other than your own, all over your business website, is not so sharp.

Especially so when you're trying to do it with phrases that given Google's very nature you can never be sure what the client will actually see.

# Credibility Rule One
- keep silly personal stuff off your main business website ;)
Anyway, credibility wont now be an issue because he has his own radio show, super-stardom now beckons.. Enjoy ;) .....

Spec Ops in Afganistan

Ok listen up.

Spec ops have been a bit quiet on the sitreps lately, lots going on, but little we can talk about, such is the path we tread. However, due to the nature of work we do, we can't help but make noticeable Google-waves occasionally.. :)

So HQ have ordered that we ramp up the workload and (at least pretend that we are going to) keep you all (slightly) better informed of goings on.

First up, the Great Satan himself has been spotted cohorting with the enemy, and donning the local garb (rags on head) to avoid detection.

This is actually rather good news because it means he can now be summarily shot on sight, rather than having to go after him for war (and peace) crimes against his own people (never mind the rest of the world)

- you'll all be pleased to know he's top priority, so there's an extra can of tennants for whoever bags him.

Any volunteers to stick a suicide Google bomb up his kaftan if we haven't nailed his sorry ass in a few days, stay behind afterwards please and we'll strap you up.

Secondly, C Company have got to stop joyriding through the Yank bases in the stolen Hummer.

Yes yes, I know it's funny the yanks can't even catch them now they painted it orange, but we're on the same side, and openly trolling our allies just isnt on.

Plus they have now stopped answering the radio completely apart from the odd "YeeeHahh!!" and we're even hearing rumours that they've been doing donuts in the Air Force base's McDonalds car park, it's got to stop, funny or not.

Next as you may be aware the local forces are making great strides in training and equipment and we are confident they'll soon be able to defend their own SERPs from the Talispam once again, but until then we have a job to do, so stop your nonsense and get back to your positions forthwith.

Finally as you may or may not be aware the sniper team have been in action demonstrating their usual superior seo firepower once more with overnight #1 strikes on Yahoo..

.
..Google is also under heavy siege and will be giving up the top 5 booty within the month.

Just be thankful these boys are firing away from you again now, do not let them at the rum before a mission again and it will hopefully stay that way.

Over and out.

Superior SEO .. the game is on..

Ok so apparently seo comedian from the previous post is now to be taken at least semi- seriously as he is now up to #2 for Superior SEO using what some might label not so superior seo web design techniques.

Having backed off from a serious discussion about Superior SEO web design here promising to calm down, we have it on good authority he's quitely gone off "to prove that lot wrong, my way is the best way 10k words in a scrollbar rules!! .." etc. :)

However due to Google still being eminently spammable, its working for the moment anyway.

HQ have already called in the airstrikes but Google is being slow in caching so we're on the case as well now. This might well end up a bit like bullying the retarded kid in the playground by the time it's finished, but well hey, this is serious SEO ethics business,
because
you rank for a phrase, does not mean you are that phrase.. ..that would be like ranking for "genius amazing brain surgeon"
.. get lost with your scalpel nutter!
Of course this applies to us too, but we are not spamming Twitter, Propellor article - marketing for links all aimed at these silly phrases and generally telling everyone else we can find who will listen, how great we are because we rank for a silly phrase.

Superior SEO Design our collective arses, the game is now on.

edit 07-07-09 click -->>link<<-- ..to see why HQ really aren't bothered by anything except the misappropriation of the word "superior" here.
..all those superior seo #1's - traffic value? nil.
edit 09-07-09 .. dear oh dear.

Nobody hates you, mirth is a very different thing to hate, "Power Twit" is about right though.. ;)

edit 19-08-09 TN insists on various funny spamblogs he runs that he isnt spamming.

hmm.. looks like Wordpress themselves might just disagree ?

D1G1TAL Numpty update

Ok listen up.

D1g1tal numpty has now been handed over to us.

As he clearly now thinks he's home free he is cracking on with his numpty-world domination plan involving "pooling together no-brainers" and getting the shareholders to moonlight as software testers from what we could gather.

Well that's all well and good but recce team think it's just a little bit cheeky, plus a bit retarded, to be putting "SEO" in his meta kw tags :) ..what a numpty.

he's also committed SEO Hall of Cardinal Shame Offence #7
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow">
..what a numpty.

It might be a laugh to now canvass all his latest brand new site'owners explaining the inherent technology and search engine visability challenges they face from their hi-tech, expensive, flash SEO-useless sites. :)

SEO Clowns & Comedians

"Come in Hooston, we have a problem.."

So HQ's "Guaranteed Houston SEO spammer" or "Cease & Desist"Clown as he's affectionately known as here seemingly took the best advice offered to him, and promptly deleted his offending website rather than engage with us (..we get that a lot, in case you're wondering ;)

It's a shame really because covert ops dug up some wonderful background articles, on amongst other stuff the power of blog comment spamming (& if only he'd done it himself instead of outsourcing we'd probably have never have fallen out) and one beauty in particular from one of his two other newer and less silly sites, we'll quote a little now with name removed.. [us in red]

..Yes look sunshine, not sure how to break this to you, "hanging with your homies" eating pizza and playing playstation doesn't make you an SEO. ..Anyway, he's been downgraded to "no discernable threat of any sort" now so we have to leave him alone.

And June's SEO Comedy Award goes to superior seo spam man after a stunning display of...
" look-at-me-I-rank-for-a-ridiculous-term-I-can-do-the-same-for-you.."
and this has to be the funniest Twitter marketing campaign ever

<> Edited by High Command

this guy turned out to be OK via email comms if a bit new to the game. He's just making as much noise as possible with his new company, sensitive info removed.. As you were...

Texas SEO Rednecks

Ok stand to.

SEO Spec Ops are @ Bikini Amber as of 09.00 hours this morning after some "Hooston SEO" type clown opened comms with HQ today with an emailed "Cease & Desist", after initially spamming their blog, then not liking the comment replies.. ?? !! :)

Bwahahahahahahahaha!!

..Said clown was duly given his marching orders in blunt language by return, and we've had the situation under surveillance ever since.

It would appear at this point that the Texan SEO rednecks have tonight deleted their site, and are retreating (run away, run away! :) unless it's just a server error or something.

It was a pretty naff site anyway, giving "SEO Guarantees" and the individual in question does have two more slightly better looking ones to play with, so it's no great loss to the internet.

We've been digging deep and are kinda hoping he tries further intimidation tactics because this redneck SEO is going to have an awfully red neck (and face) by the time he's finished trying to dig himself out of this hole.. :)

watch this space..

Ibiza Numpties Puppies Ladies & Funnies

Spec ops have been a bit quiet of late, not deep undercover terrorizing a SERP near you, nor optimizin' your ladies you might be surprised to hear :)

ibiza girls

But we found this one today and think they should be higher than their current #21 if possible, lets see what we can do.. ;)

..we haven't really had much to get our teeth properly into for a little while, and one of our number just got a new puppy :) ..so it's all been a bit laid back for a while.

HQ have been dishing out Google bashings to Numpties quite well enough without our help, but we suspect we may get an order to rank the post for his name (without including his name in it, a spec ops speciality, the linkbombing filters make it harder these days)

We would prefer to wait till the post has critical mass of IBLs and then 301 it at his actual site and see if we can swap the two over in the charts :)

..but we probably wont be allowed, "professionalism an' all that.." lol..

In the meantime this site, canucklehead.ca has been amusing us hugely, it really is very funny.

..and speaking of funnies they've been a bit slow on the analytics too of late but here's a sprinkling of spec ops hits over the last few weeks.
  • beautiful ladies uncovered
  • girls of ibiza uncovered
  • ladies going commando
  • girls in malta need help
  • maltese girls need a man
  • 2 malta girls need a man :) - nothing like a bit of optimism.
  • horse seo :) ??!!
  • world sex seo - wtf?? - if this is a tournament we are definitely entering :)

Snipers strike

Since our sniper team moved to their forward OP and now take on any necessary deployments, spec ops can now get back to our real role of SEO Recon & CQSEO battle tactics

This generally involves long range missions scouting the enemy positions /strength, and then lying up waiting for the snipers to arrive and guiding their SERP strikes in.

This weekend's sniper targets are:

www.seniorworldresorts.com Senior Resorts creating your dream lifestyle in La Vera Spain. This is a new development project underway, you'll be hearing more about this in time to come.

And a very talented young Ibiza Dance & Cabaret Production company's first website, and is also a little seo experiment to see if Google does have a look down nofollow links, or not.
Both are still works in progress but it's time to fire up the laser sights & guide the Googlebot strikes home..

CQSEO Tactics - The Art of SERP War

Ok, as HQ seem to have dropped any semblance of sanity and broken every military convention in the book by openly announcing our military SEO Demonstration objectives, thereby giving the enemy (opposition) every chance to dig in and fortify their positions, and / or ambush us on the way ap we thought we'd join in the fun by explaining a little more about our Close Quarter SEO Tactics and some of the less well known weaponry we use..

SEO SERP Reconaissance - SEO Spec Ops primary task is Recon.

You have to know your enemy, from upclose and dirty. They will often be very strong and able to easily repel simple frontal attacks.

But we usually have in our favour the sheer complacence that often comes with a stable #1 for a while, people get used to it, and think it is rightfully theirs, which allows for well planned undercover spec ops & teams to open the doors and walk right in.

So we firstly study their keyword / SERP performance, identify their strongholds (dont attack there) and all their areas of weakness (keyword coverage, content / site structure and inbound linkpower)

This is basic SOPs, using the Google search operators, allintitle: , allinurl: and allinanchor: will give you a very good idea exactly how strong they are, and where.

That site strongly dug in at #1 could be there for a variety of reasons, including superpowerful links, age & trust, or more and better content, or often justbecause they're just better organised (optimised) than the rest. It's important to know exactly why that is as best you can why that is before mounting your assault, so you can aim at their blind side/s.

Then you look at their logistics and backup organisation, keyword research-wise. This is where we mount open OPs (Observation Posts) and also use the embedded undercover operators.

Open OPs include - Google's updated keyword research tool & any of the proprietary backlink checkers, we have classified weaponry we cannot discuss that we use for this, however Yahoo's sitesearch link: command in combination with Joost de Valk's SEO firefox plugin will give adequate information for SEO Civilians to get the picture.

Then we radio into our embedded (spy) operators who have been working in an amongst the enemy for a while gathering intel into their operations for the latest update.

Whilst we obviously cannot divulge everything about them we are safe to say that some of our operators use this kind of technology to gather as much information about enemy movements and positions as possible..
..which combined with our knowledge of their general organisation should start to show where they may be vulnerable to attack.

Probe their defences

..at which point we call in the (keyword) sniper team with orders to engage if the opportunity presents itself and take a long range pot shot or two at them to see how they react..

This is usually in the form of a carefully structured blog post or two from an established blog with sufficient strength to take shots from the halfway line and punch in close, and really see how strong and well defended they are, Sometimes we even get lucky, and maybe even take out any sentries caught napping or with their pants down..

The recon team then start sending out constant fighting patrols from the OP to probe the enemy perimeters and really see how well guarded they are, and RV (rendezvous) with the embedded troops inside who will let us know exactly where to punch through, and lately have often unlocked the gates Trojan Horse style for the Fighting Patrol to walk right in, (at which point it is all over for their ladies, they are coming with us.. ;) )

For the SEO Civilians amongst you this military jargon probably doesnt mean much so I'll try to use simple examples in civvy language you may understand.

Say we were talking about the keyphrase " Ibiza widgets" as the primary objective, but the enemy are heavily dug in and defended there, and it could maybe take more manpower and resources that we are prepared to commit, and probably a long drawn out an bloody battle that we have no guarantee of even winning ultimately to take the position..

But research shows possibly that "Ibiza widget" is not as heavily searched, (hence optimised for) and sometimes shows different results from the plural, - which is always good as it indicates a lack of total dominance by the enemy) nor are "widgets Ibiza", "widgets in Ibiza" "red widgets Ibiza" blue widgets Ibiza" etc..

You get the idea..? So some of those are targeted by the keyword sniper teams initially, and any success obtained is first fortified and backed up, and then we build from it.

Conquer / Consolidate

Once we own "red widget Ibiza" and "Ibiza widget in blue" the crossover effect starts to give strength to the central theme of "Ibiza widget" and extra reinforcements turning up from "Ibiza green widget" will only strengthen the cause, until we have basically surrounded and infiltrated the enemy position. Structure and write your site and content to target the long tail and related terms, and the easier terms first, letting it build naturally until you can look the dug-in forces right in the eyes and mount the final push for "Ibiza widgets"

Regroup, reinforce further, and then go again..

..At which point (only then) do they usually notice that they are surrounded, outnumbered, out-manoeuvred, out flanked, and will quite often just surrender without the final battle even being fought.

We've done this in Malta, Gozo & Mallorca recently, all of which have folded very quickly under the combined stealth and strength of the Ibicenc SEO Warriors, and we currently have campaigns underway in various stages of progress in Spain, India, SEO for Flash, simple / easy SEO, that kind of thing.

The CQSEO Strategy & tactics can be hence summarised as:

Reconaissance, Intel gathering & analysis, sniper teams, probing fighting patrols, infiltration, consolidation of victories, regroup, and do it all over again, or..

Divide, Probe, Conquer, Consolidate, Regroup.. and on ad infinitum until the whole Widget world is under (y)our control... ;P

It's beachtime for SEO Ibiza again, hasta luego amigos.. over and out.

The Fittest SEO Assistant in the World?

Over on Jaan Kanellis' Blog (..just noticed spelling mistake Jaan sorry, dyslexic assistant!) a while back he had a bit of a hit by taking SEO back to basics, well, not so much SEO, as just back to basics, i.e. sex & sex appeal, with a post called: Who is the best looking lady in SEO

..Now everyone knows that sex sells, so this was canny move on Jaan's behalf and obviously attracted a good amount of attention. And there are indeed some lovely looking ladies there, (plus a few also rans to make up the numbers I suspect - no offence, each to their own, beauty is in the eye of.. etc)

However living in Ibiza, we know a little about foxy ladies, as millions of them make a beeline for us every summer to shake their booties in the world's best clubs, and experience the Ibiza vibe of freedom & party hedonism, so we feel more than qualified to comment on this.

And we have just hired a new SEO assistant (female) and quite literally believe she may well be the fittest (as in sexy fit, not running / exercise fit) SEO assistant in the world, and who will be presenting our new video for our Simple SEO section very shortly, so that you may judge for yourselves.

The best thing about it is that she is also clever. I mean really clever, ..like Masters Degree in International Relations clever. She's also a model, presents on radio, TV and several other jobs besides..

Currently all we can reveal is that she is in this picture below, but we think you should probably subscribe so you don't miss the new video / announcements etc...

..and this is before the troops return with the latest (very willing) spoils of war from the seo services india campaign..

We are a very lucky little SEO team indeed to be stationed here in Ibiza.. ;)

Attention America!! - (Keyword) Sniper Alert

Right listen up.

We find your insolence absolutely intolerable and your resolute defence of Country & Western and the one called "Streisand" is against everything we stand for here in the civilised world.

We warned you here Attention America and we've given you every possible chance including keyword sniping google to comply without making us resort to force, so now unfortunately you leave us no other option, ...it's "shock and awe" time.

It is possibly just a little outside of UN law, but well, we're right, you're wrong, and what do they know, so we're just going to do it anyway. ...sound familiar hmm?

HQ have now fixed the issues at basecamp, we've had a good R&R and are fully re-supplied ready for a little more foreign travel & serp invasion. It will surely help rid the local inhabitants of their tyrant leaders, and if not, well, we'll pick up all the lucrative rebuilding contracts once we've bombed your SERPs to bits anyway, so its win-win (for us)

You'll notice ** superior small business ** is now firmly under our control once again this morning after a daring seo commando raid in the early hours of yesterday morning, and we are now camped just over the brow of the first page ready for the final push on superior business just as soon as the radio call comes in.

So we would advise saying your goodbyes to your women now, because we will obviously be confiscating them on arrival, athough to be fair, once they see us and understand where they'll be living, they rarely complain for very long.

and if they do, well, we're still right and they're still wrong ;)

Tactical Linking Tactics

Ok we've been accused in the past of talking a lot but not actually saying very much about tactics, of being vocal about what we are doing, but not so much how go about it.

As this is the SEO spec ops group, on mainly covert operations, that's to be expected really, but here's a few things we usually do as pretty much SOPs (standard operating procedures to you SEO Civilians)

1) Link to pages on sites that link to you - especially new links that arent yet cached - find somewhere else suitable & if possible drop a decent contextual link from there to it. It will often speed up caching, and gives the outgoing link a little jolt. This includes forum posts, forum profiles in some cases blog comments (dofollow) or mentions on other blog posts.

..like this web design usability & power of impressions (thanks to SEO Design Solutions) or these ones, Boutique Self Catering Ibiza , Ibiza Events and Ibiza Hotels - where we've made some changes on the page we want recached and we've also arranged with the client to link to a friend of theirs (and another of our clients) on the page too. ..Of course we (always) want it cached ASAP (yesterday) -so get on with it Google :)

2) If you run more than one blog, syndicate the feeds from each onto the other. ...when you post on one, the other is then immediately linking at you with your best choice of anchor text. As your blogs grow in power, and dependent on your market, they can sometimes almost even rank each other's posts using this alone.

3) Always link to other bloggers posts, their permalinks, not their blog domain, and do it using suitable anchor text. Use the seo power of wordpress to alert them that you liked their post and have referenced it. People like to know that long hours of staring at screens and typing is being appreciated somewhere, and everybody likes to see links inbound. (You may even make new friends, and from there great things can happen.

4) Think about any subpages with either good pagerank or decent inbound links to them as "power-nodes" - think about routing this out of there through your best anchor text at pages that need help.

5) Courtesy of SDS (above) - brilliance in it's simplicity - use google to tell you which page is most relevant for your term by searching

term+term site:www.mysite.com

- it usually makes sense to further link to the strongest page for the term, or at least it highlights potential issues in the site, i.e if your "best" page for the job is not showing at the top.

6) Always
keep in mind that the relative strength of a link, whether it's an internal or external inbound is always PR divided by no of links offpage with regards to ranking power. The gurus will tell you (toolbar) Pagerank is unimportant, but they would always select a PR6 link over a PR0, we guarantee you.

No, it's not accurate but on a scale of 1-10, ..well, we'd bet it's more accurate than just picking a likely number blindfolded? ..combine this with looking closely at the number of links off the page and you probably will be surprised which and where your best links are PR / strength wise.

And finally, unrelated to tactical linking ops, if you're a wordpress design theme wizard, get onboard this one ASAP, Wordpress theme competition - it could be your big break, seriously..
