As you may or may not know we have themed our own new website (15 weeks old today) as an ongoing SEO Demonstration Website.
On the page (link above) is a full list of the terms we have been targeting, please do try the many search terms and let us know how we're doing, we focus on Google.com, .co.uk and .es
As well as our local business related searches and the Geo related SEO searches we have also gone after a variety of SEO related search terms, including ** SEO Demonstration Website ** and ** SEO Demonstration **

We conquered the term SEO Demonstration Website some weeks ago now, and are now approaching full-on SERP Domination (another of our terms, check it out ;) for SEO Demonstration Website across Google, Yahoo & Microsoft Live. The latest Google screenshot is below.
We thought that the screenshot showing the correct pages with dropdowns from both the site and the blog, talking about our whole SEO Demonstration Search project, and our thoughts on Pagerank's role in the matter wasn't a bad little SEO Demonstration in itself? :) ..what do you reckon?

As far as the tougher ** SEO Demonstration ** Searches go, our website www.seoibiza.com is at the time of looking #1 on both Yahoo & MSN Live for this but Google is showing the complexity of their algorithym and / or their preference for Blogs over static sites for fresh results by ranking this Blog Google #1 for the term, and our (higher PR website) is 3 positions lower, with other also higher PR competitors below us. This would seem to back up our assertion that if you build well optimised pages, you only need worry about Google, by the time youre doing OK there, the rest of the Engines will have taken care of themselves.

We do seem to have succeeded in overpowering (at least briefly) Youtube's vastly superior PR6 using content relevance, but for how long is anyone's guess. But this is also a bit unusual in that the blog links to the static website using this term a fair bit, but nowhere, have we linked into the Blog for this term whatsoever.
Some may say this is a clear demonstration of the lack of influence of Pagerank in rankings, but we disagree. We think that as the blog fresh content boost fades, things will level out to a more Pagerank orientated layout.
We are still conducting further tests with "Pagerank optimisation" along these lines on our SEO Experiments page and search (try that one too) although the page has been dropping in and out of the index for no apparent reason, (maybe its just to hot for them to handle without gloves ;) so if it's nowhere, when you look, tray again in a day or two, we're sure it'll be back to stay shortly.
We are also now starting a new phase of testing looking at Image search optimisation. Keep tuned for more developments
